Lingraphica
Lingraphica is partnering with the University of Illinois’ Speech Accessibility Project to improve voice recognition technology — and they need your help to spread the word!
This groundbreaking project (supported by tech leaders like Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, and Microsoft) aims to make speech recognition tools more accessible for everyone.
So, how can you help? They are looking for people who have post-stroke aphasia, apraxia of speech, or dysarthria to participate. If you choose to participate in the Speech Accessibility Project, you will be asked to record speech samples by reading prompts or answering questions out loud. This can be done from home, and you can have a loved one assist with these tasks.
You can receive up to $180 for contributing to this project. And if you have a care partner helping them, that person can earn up to $90, too!
